Bullet Points - Check List

1. Maintain the Emotion throughout the Story
2. Develop the story in different levels.
    a. Plot Level
    b. Pschyological Level
    c. Political Level
    d. Mythological Level
3. Stories may not agree with each other, most of the times they may contradict with each other. Use this as conflicts between the Characters, Scenes and the Story itself.
4. Use camera as a pen to describe :
    a. Emotion of the characters
    b. Pace of the Plot
    c. Genre of the Story
    d. Treatment of the Subject of the Story
5. Identify the purpose and contribution of these following aspects to the Story:
    a. Each Episode to the Plot
    b. Each Scene to the Story
    c. Each Character to the Story
    d. Each Shot to the Screenplay
    e. Each Frame to the Screenplay
    f. Each Conversation of the Characters
    g. Each Dialogue of the Characters (Respective to the Actors/Actresses)
    h. Patch work cinematography
6. Choose appropriate Back Ground Music (BGM) to convey the emotion of each and every scene or dialog. Noticeable areas to enhance the action or drama with music:
    a. Introduction of Characters and the situations
    b. Theme BGM's for Characters, Plot and the Action/Drama portions
    c. BGM for Conversations
    d. BGM for Ups and Downs in a conversation of dialogues
7. BGM must convince the emotion of the scene and never over elevate or drain out the emotion or performance of the scene or the actor.
8. Write your screenplay to copulate with the pace of the movie.
9. Shoot your scenes with the EDITED Scene in your mind. Especially while Starting a shot and ending a shot ( E.G : While saying ACTION and CUT)
10. Imagine the emotion and any reference BGM while shooting a scene. Get all the required footage you want so that you can enhance it with Editing and BGM. If you dont imagine the emotion with a reference BGM you may feel that the scene is dry or dull while shooting. So forget about the immediate effect of the scene you just shot, and go ahead and take maximum footage you want and the maximum performances actors can potray.
11. Allow the actors to perform a particular scene or shot or dialogue in as many ways as they can perform. There is never a single perfect take. Even if you get a perfect take, go for another or more and if and only if the actor is willing and comfortable to do so.
12. Let it be a conversation scene or action scene or drama scene, try to shoot it as follows:
      a. As many angles as possible ans As many as different performances
      b. Make sure you get Long-shot, Medium-shot and Close-up
      c. Do not go for Extreme Close-up or Extreme Long-Shot unless and until its real contribution is needed to the story or the plot. (Read point 5)
      d. Get as much as Patch work footage you can. This is the area where one can openly use the artistic freedom of the cinematography without any hassles or the dates of the actors or their performances

Terrorist Attack D16 (10/18/2012)

I have to go some where and have limited options. I am walking and suddenly an alternative short cut striked my mind, i turned in that direction and found a sewer canal filled with kids playing some ball game. I felt sick and got onto the road diagonal to the canal. A typical mud road with houses on the both sides. Suddenly a dog came running towards me. I was scared but it was friendly, though it caught my leg with its jaws without hurting me. Then my friend Vj came and told me that its a nice dog. Now i had to  go somewhere and i was geared up. It was like a mission. I had loaded guns with me in my jacket. I asked my friends to drop me off somewhere and they were just walking without any response. I told them that i would fill up their tanks but still they didnt. And suddenly we were at a restaurant and started eating food. We were three of us. From the window of the hotel we were able to see the traffic on the road and a police busting some criminal. Two cop cars and the suspects car. Little of a mess on the road and inconvenience to the traffic. Then we had some conversation.

All of the sudden we heard some disturbance out on the road like people shouting on the road and running. I walked towards the window to find that the police were being attacked by the criminals by hand granite explosives and machine guns. It was terror all over the place. Someone beside me told me its going to be worse. But the intial feeling of terrorists or criminals attacking the most strongest force we believe in to be safe i.e police was terrifying and horrific. These terrorists were ruthless and started blowing up whoever and whatever came in their way. Strangely they were approaching our building. It was much more of a shock and terror now. The hotel we were in had only one way connection to the main road i.e a wooden shaft placed as a bridge between the hotel and the road which were divided by the back waters of the sea. One lady terrorist was trying to cross the shaft followed by numerous terrorists with machine guns and explosives.

I dont know what happened but suddenly i found myself with my friends on the sands of the shore. we were able to look at the hotel far away.

Scheme- Sitting D15(08/24/2012)

Some 5 years ago i used to regularly move with a group of friends who compromised of Rajesh, Niranjan, Viddhi, Adi, Candy, Raghu, DK, Ashish and Raghu.

This was during a scheme or sitting we call it. e all were sitting at a table and having our drinks. I could see everyone present at the table and we were cracking jokes and having fun. I dont remember much of what happened but i surely remember that something in the sitting pissed Adi who usually gets pissed off easily or else is a nice guy. So everyone was trying to cool him down.

P.S: I am in Newark, DE at Ujwals place.

Sports Chronicle D14 (4/2/12)

I was walking to a sports ground and to left was a hut inside which my childhood friend Tinku was telling some people about how tribals behave. I was dresses up in sports clothing, a red t-shirt and a red short to be specific. As i approached the ground i could see the sportsmen teaming up to start the play. I could hear them shouting to one another by encouraging each other. Even i felt the spirit up inside me and i started jogging and flexing my muscles as i approached the ground. Once i entered the ground i found Ramohan sir playing referee with a whistle in his mouth. He was making them exercise by showing how to do it.
Then i came out of the ground as the match already was starting so i didnt want to disturb them. Then i entered the ground from a corner where there was a telephone booth filled with children not letting me in. But i made a way through them and entered the ground. Once i entered i found my friends playing badminton/shuttle. They were holding two rackets in single hand doubled up and playing on one side and other side players where playing with single rackets. As turned around the arena i found Jeevan and he was laughing and greeting me pleasantly. he was actually winning. I also found my friend Vijay on the loosing side.
I told Vijay to stop playing the same old games and try something new. Then Vijay in a sarcastic tone replied to me saying, Why dont i try to excel in Chemistry rather than just always fucking around with Maths. I told him i already exceled in that subject and challenged him to beat me in it. Then another badminton player i think it was Naveen, handed over his Nikon camera to me and asked me to hit some snaps and i did. Then i wanted to leave the premises. Suddenly i found my friend Dhamki Vijay in police uniform. I greeted him saying Wassup Colonel. Then we both laughed and i handed over the camera to Nikhil who was sitting just beside me on a bench. End of IT.
